My sister is doing a sponsored swim to raise money to go to Lourdes as a helper. So she spread the word around our church and various other places and has raised quite a bit of money so far. Its quite amazing how people just gave her money assuming she was actually going to Lourdes – for all they know, she could just ‘forget to go’ and would have a nice thick wallet full of cash.

Anyway I digress, the point of this post is to present to you my plea for sponsorship.

I am planning on “Simply Existing and Possibly Eating Some Pancakes” next Thursday and I would greatly appreciate your help in the form of a donation. Whatever you can afford (but obviously the more cash the better, as it gives me a greater incentive – those Pancakes won’t eat themselves). I accept Paypal, or if you prefer, you could pretend you sponsored me and we can call it even. As in I won’t hunt you down and staple your eye lids shut you tight son of a bitch.
